Shooting range to the top
This is the one I'm most familiar with, and of the three that go to the summit, it's the shortest, although also the steepest. It takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
From the road from Javea to Denia (CV-736), there's a shooting range and some parking at the start of a dirt road. Continue along this until you reach a wide track and head toward Montgo.
When the trail ends, the rocky path begins to zigzag upwards, until you finally reach the crest of the mountain.
Here the path ends and the rocks begin. There are steep slopes, and you'll occasionally have to use your hands to help yourself continue. Shortly after, about 500 meters, you'll reach the summit.
This route is 3,874 meters high and has a cumulative elevation gain of 550 meters. The difficulty is high, but only due to the last section, which is the rocky ridge.
